Senior Android Engineer

Role Overview:
The Senior Android Engineer is instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications for the banking platform. You will lead architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to strengthen the mobile solution’s growth and robustness within a regulated financial environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 6+ years’ experience in Android application development
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Proven delivery of at least two Android apps on the Google Play Store
• Experience designing and evolving design systems and reusable UI components
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns, including multi-module MVVM
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, Jetpack libraries, Navigation, Dagger or Hilt
• Practical experience with automated testing tools like Kotest, Mockk, Robolectric, and Espresso
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality tooling
• Experience working in start-up or high-growth technology environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain modular Android applications for multiple clients
• Improve and expand the design system and component library
• Ensure architecture supports scalability, maintainability, and regulatory needs
• Deliver automated, peer-reviewed releases supported by CI pipelines
