What You’ll Be Working On

As a key member of our mobile team, you’ll contribute to two core products:

• Consumer-Facing App – empowering users to manage policies and gain insights into their driving behaviour.
• Mobile SDK – a native SDK that collects driving data to generate driver scores.

You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting secure, scalable, and high-performance Android applications, while also influencing technical strategy and mentoring others.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of our Android applications.
• Set technical direction and drive engineering best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to launch new features.
• Champion clean code, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, design docs, and tech talks.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of Android development experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Libraries, and Jetpack Compose.
• Proven experience building SDKs that are scalable and developer-friendly.
• Strong grasp of software architecture and design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in telematics is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance or finance industries is a bonus.
• A curious mindset with a passion for leveraging AI to boost productivity and innovation.
