We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technical programmes across multiple workstreams within the real estate industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to work at a high level across teams not necessarily operating in traditional Agile sprints. The position is based in Central London, with hybrid working expected—ideally two days a week in the office (Wednesdays and Thursdays). The initial contract is for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role is outside IR35 and offers a day rate of £480.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in project management and technical delivery, particularly within cloud or Oracle migration projects. You will be expected to coordinate across up to 24 different workstreams, collaborating with delivery managers and technical leads to ensure timely and successful outcomes. A background in large-scale enterprise IT programmes with cloud technologies (especially GCP or Oracle Cloud) is highly desirable, as is prior experience navigating the typical challenges of cloud migration initiatives.
This is a high-impact role where planning, risk management, and stakeholder sensitivity are vital. You’ll be expected to identify and address dependencies, dive deeply into risks and issues, and develop strategic approaches to delivery involving multiple teams with different languages, cultures, and working methodologies. The ability to intuitively support others, coordinate complex activities, and create tangible delivery plans is critical. You must be confident in navigating ambiguity, able to juggle competing priorities with ease, and comfortable driving performance and alignment across diverse teams.
Strong communication, both written and verbal, is essential. You should be experienced in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, and able to present technical and delivery updates in a clear and accessible manner. The successful candidate will be someone who has seen and done it all before, calm under pressure, with a deep understanding of what can go wrong and how to course-correct in a high-stakes environment.
This role would suit a Technical Delivery Lead or Technical Project Manager with a deep understanding of cross-functional team coordination, cloud technologies, and enterprise platform migrations. A background in the real estate domain is advantageous but not essential.
