We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the delivery of a strategic product from early-stage design through to service management and post–go-live support. This role requires a proactive leader who can define and own the product vision, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and customer needs.

- Own and manage product roadmaps and backlogs, prioritising features, defects, and technical tasks in line with business and industry needs.
- Lead and communicate within governance structures, managing risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Align and engage stakeholders, working closely with the Programme Manager and wider business teams.
- Define and maintain the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Ensure clear and accurate documentation of Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps.
- Manage business cases and benefit realisation plans in accordance with governance standards.
- Lead agile ceremonies and foster continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and external regulatory and industry bodies.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong background as a Product Owner or Product Lead delivering complex technical or data-driven products.
- Deep understanding of industry data and IT systems, with the ability to translate business needs into technical delivery.
- Proven ability to manage product budgets and deliver measurable business value.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, governance, and risk control.
- Skilled in Agile delivery, business solution design, and continuous improvement.
- Experienced in using Azure DevOps for backlog and workflow management.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Data Strategy, Capacity Planning, or Data Best Practice Standards.
- Familiarity with flexibility markets or the wider UK energy industry.
