Role: iTrent SME
Contract Length: 6 Months – 3-4 days per week
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite Greater Manchester
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Skills
- Strong background in HR/Payroll implementations
- Experience implementing iTrent for a Public Sector organisation
- Able to be dropped in mid project and quickly understand the current position
- Understanding of broader HR/OD processes ie L&D, Annual Leave, Time Recording etc
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Resilient leadership approach, maintaining focus, and direction during organisational service change
- Skilled at building trust and engagement across diverse personality types to strengthen team cohesion and performance
Project Goals:
Seeking a highly experienced iTrent specialist to act as a guide, advisor, and strategic delivery partner throughout the remainder of the programme. Key Objectives include:
- Ensuring the council extracts full value from iTrent, both at go‑live and during future phases.
- Bringing practical, lived experience from similar transformation journeys to support best‑practice configuration, and future scalability.
- Leading and influencing change and adoption across the organisation, ensuring users transition smoothly from legacy processes
- Supporting the council through a strategic rollout of Phase 2 functionality, ensuring a consistent, modern, employee‑focused experience.
