I’m delighted to be partnered exclusively with a leading educational institution in the Southwest. My client is looking to hire a Finance Analyst, to the join the Finance team of 35 and support the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
Supporting the Finance Planning and Analysis team and reporting into the Head of FP&A, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for.

I’m delighted to be partnered exclusively with a leading educational institution in the Southwest. My client is looking to hire a Finance Analyst, to the join the Finance team of 35 and support the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
Supporting the Finance Planning and Analysis team and reporting into the Head of FP&A, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Senior Financial Analyst in designing and maintaining the models used in the University’s 5-year plan.
- Undertake monthly monitoring and reconciliation of tuition fee income.
- Undertake monthly, mid-year and year end monitoring and reconciliation of tuition fees for partnerships.
- Develop and maintain a model to support the reporting of pay expenditure compared to budget.
- Identify, analyse and provide commentary on year-on-year variances.
- Use business intelligence tools and take ownership of certain reporting areas.
- Create targeted system reports which offer key insights into areas of expenditure.
- Create system reports that will streamline existing processes or resolve issues with data in the finance system.
- Proactively work with the systems accountants to ensure any reporting developed is accurate and robust.
- Update existing reports as reporting requirements change or as system changes dictates.
- Qualified or Part Qualified Finance Analyst working towards a qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA
- Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Analytical reporting experience in an Educational or Local Government environment
