Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Wordings Specialist to join a high-performing legal and wordings team. Working closely with the Senior Wordings Specialist and Wordings Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring contract certainty across multiple lines of business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly literate professional with experience in the Lloyd’s Market, looking to progress their career within a well-respected syndicate environment. The role also includes mentoring and developing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing policy wordings, ensuring accurate reflection of coverage granted.

Ensuring all policy forms and clauses comply with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

Staying informed on market developments to support various business units.

Developing and branding new policy wordings and clauses.

Providing advice and guidance to brokers, clients, and internal teams on policy wordings.

Resolving contract-related queries efficiently and effectively.

Managing and maintaining the internal wordings and clauses library.

Supporting overseas offices where required.

Participating in post-placement reviews and completing contract certainty checks across all classes.

Conducting PBQA checks to ensure compliance with market standards.

Proven experience within the Lloyd’s Market (syndicate or broker background).
