Job Opportunity: Operational Business Improvement Analyst

Location: Accrington, Lancashire – very occasional visits
Salary: £45,000–£55,000

As part of this journey, they’re now seeking a talented Operational Business Improvement Analyst to join their transformation team.
This is a high-impact role with real influence analysing processes, driving change, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Ideal Experience
- Proven experience in operational improvement, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong knowledge of lean and agile methodologies, including lean problem-solving techniques
- Ability to design scalable SOPs and process maps to drive standardisation
- Experience working cross-functionally with IT, development, and operational teams
- Skilled in identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable leading postmortems and root cause analysis
- Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Champion lean and agile practices to embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Encourage staff to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement system enhancements
- Analyse end-to-end operational processes and identify areas for optimisation
- Monitor and assess the performance of improvement initiatives and ensure timely resolution
- Lead postmortems and track corrective actions to completion
- Stay up-to-date with in-house systems and processes to drive relevant improvements
- Take ownership of personal development and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Travel to European offices
