About the Role
We’re hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer for a fast-growing tech company working with global brands like Diageo, Campari, Pernod Ricard, and Twinings.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead DevOps strategy and execution across a multi-environment platform, supporting cutting-edge NFC authentication technology and immersive customer experiences.


You’ll join a collaborative, ego-free engineering team and take ownership of infrastructure, automation, and scalability. This is ideal for a current Lead or a Senior DevOps Engineer ready to step up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead DevOps initiatives across production, staging, and sandbox environments.
  • Own infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using TypeScript-first approaches.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments.
  • Support SOC compliance and networking architecture.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps practices across the team.
 
  • Essential Experience
  • 8 years + experience in a mature DevOps engineering team.
  • Strong TypeScript-first infrastructure mindset ( This role will not suite Terraform-heavy experinc).
  • AWS expertise, especially ECS Fargate.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TypeScript.
  • MongoDB and PostgreSQL experience.
  • Highly Desirable but not essential
  • Pulumi experience.
  • MongoDB Atlas.
  • SOC compliance exposure.
  • Fly.io deployment experience.
  • AWS networking (VPCs, private connections).

Team & Culture
  • 12-person engineering team including PMs and product leads.
  • CTO (Alan) oversees 3 companies with global partnerships.
  • Roderick is the current sole DevOps specialist—this role will provide much-needed support.

  • New central London office coming soon.
