IT Delivery Manager

Location: North-West, England (2 days per week onsite) 

Pay rate: £450 per day (5 days per week)

Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of IT solutions within the transport industry. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex IT environments and delivering strategic IT solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manage the design, build, documentation, and delivery of IT solutions across various technologies and enterprise business solutions.
• Lead IT solution architecture design and implementation within a large and complex business environment.
• Ensure IT and digital solutions adhere to cyber security standards and audit procedures.
• Oversee annual activities to achieve PCI-DSS compliance.
• Attend senior management and key business review meetings, providing necessary IT strategy and technical insights.
• Engage with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

Key Requirements

 

• In-depth knowledge of IT/Digital solution design and delivery techniques.
• Strong understanding of cyber security requirements and audit procedures.
• Substantial experience in managing IT solution lifecycles, from design to live service.
• Experience working with and delivering solutions across a range of technologies, including but not limited to: SQL, SharePoint, MS Dynamics, ASP.Net, XML, IIS, Web services, SSRS, Power Apps, Financial payment systems, Oracle.
• Proven experience in delivering IT technical strategy and solution architecture.
• Demonstrable experience of achieving PCI-DSS compliance.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience working within a complex and diverse IT environment with a focus on business solution delivery.
