We are seeking an experienced Housing IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects within the housing sector. This role is fully remote, offering a daily rate of £400, and is available on a 6-month contract basis, working 5 days per week. The role is deemed Outside IR35, making it an excellent opportunity for seasoned contractors seeking flexibility and autonomy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects such as housing management systems, digital transformation initiatives, data migration, and system integrations. You will liaise with stakeholders across various business units, including housing officers, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and successful implementation of technology solutions.

Applicants should have a strong background in IT project management, ideally with direct experience in the social housing sector. You will be required to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering systems such as Northgate, Civica, Aareon, or similar housing platforms. A good understanding of housing legislation, rent management, repairs and asset management processes is essential. The ability to work in an agile or hybrid project delivery environment is highly desirable.

Key requirements for this role include exceptional stakeholder management skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and the competence to manage project risks, budgets, timelines and dependencies effectively. Experience managing vendors and third-party suppliers is also important for ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as the role involves leading project meetings, presenting updates to senior leadership, and preparing clear documentation. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, or PMP, along with practical experience in project governance and change control processes.

If you are enthusiastic about improving housing services through effective technology delivery and can thrive in a remote, deadline-driven environment, we encourage you to apply for this unique opportunity.
