Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Compliance) to support a wider regulatory compliance and building safety programme within social housing.

Supporting the procurement of a new end-to-end compliance solution, you will help translate procurement outputs and business requirements into detailed requirements and low-level designs, supporting the design, build/configuration, and implementation of the chosen platform.

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running with strong housing compliance and building safety knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the compliance workstream post-procurement of the new compliance solution.
• Lead end-to-end business analysis activity across implementation.
• Translate procurement outputs into:
  • detailed business requirements
  • process maps
  • functional/non-functional requirements
  • low-level designs
• Support the design, configuration/build, testing and implementation of the chosen solution.
• Review and improve end-to-end compliance processes, spanning:
  • operational processes
  • systems
  • governance and controls
• Engage and manage stakeholders across IT, housing, compliance, and operational teams.
• Ensure the solution and associated processes support the organisation’s wider regulatory compliance and building safety obligations.
• Work across the “Big Six” housing compliance areas, understanding how they operate collectively (not just one specialism).

Essential Experience & Skills

• Strong Business Analysis background within a housing compliance environment.
• Significant knowledge of building safety and regulatory compliance in social housing.
• Experience working across the Big Six compliance areas.
• Prior experience in a housing association or local authority setting.
• Experience supporting procurement and/or implementation of compliance systems.
• Proven ability to take programmes from procurement into design/build/implementation.
• Skilled at producing detailed requirements and low-level designs.
• Strong grasp of the relationship between technology, operational processes, and governance.
• Able to work autonomously, challenge appropriately, and deliver at pace.

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to housing compliance platforms (e.g., C365).
• Experience implementing or replacing an end-to-end compliance management solution.
