The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the cloud infrastructure is fit for purpose, supporting the ongoing employment of applications for both internal and external users.
In this position you will design and implement modern cloud solutions while ensuring the security and resilience of our Azure-based infrastructure. Both implementing and managing cloud security best practices, taking into considerations industry standards and data protection.
Overall, this role will cover Cloud Architecture Design, Security, Continuous Improvement, Governance and Compliance and Collaboration.
Role - Cloud Solutions and Security Architect.
Salary - £90,000-£100,000
Location - London - Hybrid/Flexible working.
Essential Skills:
- Experience designing and managing cloud solutions - focused on Azure.
- Strong security knowledge - Azure Security Centre, IAM, Azure Policy.
- Ability to design and document complex cloud architectures.
- Ability to utilize tools such as Azure service bus and Azure event grid.
- Exposure to automation and scripting tools - such as PowerShell, Terraform and Azure.
- DevOps Integration experience - CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Relevant certifications - Azure, DevOps, CISSP, CCSP etc.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in start-up or a scale-up organisation.
- ITIL / Service Management qualifications.
You will report to the Head of IT whilst working closely with the Head of Engineering and Platforms. Within this position you will assess emerging trends within the Azure ecosystem, driving architectural excellence. Overall developing an end-to-end azure cloud solution, with the focus of resilience, efficiency and scalability.
