Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced C# Technical Lead to join a fast-paced fintech organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge financial technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining fintech applications using C# and related technologies.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high coding standards and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and UX/UI Designers, to define technical requirements and delivery timelines.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and availability of developed solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and advocate for the adoption of innovative practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks in software development projects.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of technical architecture and design documentation.
- Hands-on development when required to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering complex software solutions.
- Extensive experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Proficiency in database development, including SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the financial technology or banking industry.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
- Understanding of message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
