Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced C# Technical Lead to join a fast-paced fintech organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge financial technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining fintech applications using C# and related technologies.
  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high coding standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and UX/UI Designers, to define technical requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and availability of developed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and advocate for the adoption of innovative practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in software development projects.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of technical architecture and design documentation.
  • Hands-on development when required to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering complex software solutions.
  • Extensive experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Proficiency in database development, including SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the financial technology or banking industry.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
  • Understanding of message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
