Business Analyst - Higher Education

Contract: 12 month FTC

Work Arrangement: 1 day per week on site

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Analyst to join our fast-paced environment within the Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving projects and delivering solutions that improve processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify solutions to business challenges.
Develop process models and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define project objectives.
Provide support during implementation and testing phases.

Essential Requirements

Experience within the Higher Education sector is essential.
Demonstrable experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and process modelling.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive and self-starting attitude, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and process modelling software.

Desirable Skills

Professional qualifications in business analysis (e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis).
Experience working in Agile or other project management methodologies.
Understanding of change management processes in the Higher Education sector.
