Business Analyst - Higher Education

Contract: 12 month FTC
Work Arrangement: 1 day per week on site
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Analyst to join our fast-paced environment within the Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving projects and delivering solutions that improve processes and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify solutions to business challenges.
- Develop process models and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define project objectives.
- Provide support during implementation and testing phases.
Essential Requirements
- Experience within the Higher Education sector is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and process modelling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and self-starting attitude, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and process modelling software.
Desirable Skills
- Professional qualifications in business analysis (e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis).
- Experience working in Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Understanding of change management processes in the Higher Education sector.
