Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Housing Systems Data Migration Consultant to support a leading organisation in the Housing IT industry with a critical data migration project. The successful candidate will work remotely and play a key role in ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of data during the implementation of new systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data migration activities from legacy housing systems to new platforms.
  • Design and implement effective data migration strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the migration process.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping, transformation, and cleansing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during the migration process.
  • Provide support and training to team members as needed.
  • Document workflows, procedures, and solutions for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data migration projects within the Housing IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of housing management systems, including legacy systems and modern platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience with SQL, data mapping, and data transformation tools.
  • Expertise in data quality assurance and validation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with system integrations and data workflows in the housing sector.
  • Ability to operate within an Inside IR35 contract.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience in working remotely and managing deadlines independently.
