I’m delighted to be partnered exclusively, with a leading Housing Association in the Birmingham area. My client is looking to hire a Systems Accountant, to join the Finance team and lead on the transformation and automation projects.
Key responsibilities for this requirement are to maintain systems and provide systems administration, support the wider business and ensure transformation project are aligned with the Finance systems.
RESONSIBILITIES

• lead and deliver the three-year transformation plan for financial systems, this may include full systems upgrade or implementation of new system.
• Act as the key link between IT colleagues and all significant financial systems issues and enhancement requests.
• Collaborate with finance team colleagues to undertake process reviews with a view to improving efficiency through enhanced use of appropriate software solution.
• Improve system integration and interfaces across finance and other systems.
• Research and develop robotic automation processes to improve efficiencies.
• Contribute to developing system solutions to harmonise, improve and automate processes.
• Build relationships across the business to enable projects to work smoothly and effectively.
• Ensure projects run in line with the timetable any issues are escalated to the relevant project board.
• Liaise with software providers to assess the benefits of upgrades or product enhancements that could improve the functionality and help the finance goal of digitising more of its processes.
• Provide user support and training creating user friendly guidance across all finance business systems.
• Provide system administration for Finance systems.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Part qualified or qualified with a recognised UK Accountancy qualification ACCA / CIMA / ACA, or QBE will be considered.
• Experience in working in a Social Housing Finance function.
• Experience in working with Sun Systems or OpenAccounts

FOR THIS YOU WILL RECEIVE A COMPETATIVE SALARY OF UP TO £60,000 BASE, PLUS EXCELLENT BENEFITS WHICH INCLUDE
