Role: ML Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced ML Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity, available until the end of July. This contract role offers a daily rate of £300. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with the end-to-end predictive and prescriptive model development cycle, encompassing everything from problem definition to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
A strong background in data modelling and advanced SQL skills is essential. You will also need to demonstrate proficiency in the Python machine learning and data science ecosystem, with a strong grasp of libraries and frameworks commonly used in production environments. Experience in deploying machine learning models at scale and maintaining performance in real-world applications is critical.
Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Dagster is required, along with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms including GCP, AWS, or Azure. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, applying best practices in software engineering and model lifecycle management.
