Data Engineer
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

Gravitas Group is proud to be working with a forward-thinking organisation in the insurance sector, currently undergoing an exciting period of data transformation.
We're looking for a Data Engineer to build and scale modern data infrastructure and analytical capabilities that drive real business outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Collaborate with analysts and underwriters to enhance data insight delivery
- Drive automation and enable self-service analytics
- Advocate for a data-driven culture across the organisation
- Mentor and upskill colleagues in data tools and platforms
What we're looking for:
- 2-6+ years of experience in a data-focused role
- Experience working in Insurance / Financial Services (preferable)
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL tools like DBT or Dataform
- Experience working with GCP / BigQuery or other platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach
