We are working with a highly reputable and sought after client who are looking to grow their UK offering. My client is seeking to recruit an Actuarial Consultant to join their team based in Bristol.
As an Actuarial Consultant, you will have the opportunity to support trustees and employers by providing advice in a variety of areas such as investing assets, de-risking, longevity, risk management and the impact of legislative changes.
The Actuarial Consultant will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide technical pensions advice to clients
- Ability to produce marketing material, client news alerts
- Assist in developing tools to extend the range of Actuarial products/services
- Develop procedures and standards for Actuarial Consulting work
- Produce complex reports or actuarial calculations
- Assist in training team
As an Actuarial Consultant you will fulfil the following essential criteria:
- Have in depth knowledge in areas of specialism
- Identify issues/areas to improve to assist in new business opportunities
- Stay informed of any new legislative changes and trends in market
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT and analytical skills
- Be working towards FIA qualification
