Lead RPA Developer | UI Path | Bots | Low Code | CI/CD

Lead RPA Developer needed on a permanent basis for a Housing Association in Greater Manchester.

You will be responsible for supporting the strategic ambition, maximising value from data and knowledge-based systems across the company. Designing, developing and supporting automation processes, such as RPA solutions, Bots or 365 PowerApps.

This position also includes the direct line management of 2 developers, making it a 50% development role and 50% team management. Your day to day will include managing the full software development lifecycle, documentation (version control) and supporting your team.

Role: Lead RPA Developer.

Salary: £45,000

Location: North-West - Greater Manchester - Hybrid - Twice a week onsite.

The essential skills for this position are:

  • Strong RPA experience (UiPath).
  • Experience of creating and supporting Microsoft 365 power apps, RPA solutions, bots and other low-code platforms
  • Previous formal management experience - proven ability to lead a team.
  • You will have come from a background in development and understand the challenges.
  • Experience and willingness to be a 'hands-on' full-stack developer, leading technical teams by example and acting as a role model for software engineering best practices including managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong passion and ability around all thing's documentation.

The Desirable Skills for this position are:

  • Experience with PowerApps & Power Automate.
  • AI Engine experience.

The successful candidate will get the exciting opportunity to be a part of these projects: AI Engine, Automation, Customer portal and app improvements and embarking on Phase 2 of HMS. You will focus on both internal efficiencies as well as customer journeys, creating solutions and automation's internally to reduce human resources where possible.
