We're looking for a highly skilled Data & AI Consultant to join our team and lead a transformative AI and data science initiative in a leading organisation within the Social Housing sector. This is a unique chance to shape the future of data science and AI within the business, setting the foundation for the future.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and Deliver Data & AI Vision: Drive and communicate the organisation's vision for AI and data science, creating a roadmap for impactful, ethical, and efficient AI applications.
  • Build Strategic AI Solutions: Lead three key projects, leveraging AI technologies like Azure, OpenAI, ChatGPT, and Computer Vision to optimise document management and enhance organisational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to inform and present a data-driven business case with strategic insights, in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Third-Party Selection: Manage third-party vendor selection to ensure best-in-class technology solutions, with a preference for Microsoft Azure and OpenAI services.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions within the organisation, promoting AI ethics, practical uses, and industry insights.

Essential Skills:

  • Technology Expertise: Proficient in Azure (OpenAI), ChatGPT or similar LLMs, Computer Vision, and document management. Strong Knowledge of AI & Data Science Technologies.
  • Multi-Technology Proficiency: Although the focus is on MS technologies, you can identify and advocate for alternative technology solutions if they improve project outcomes.
  • Social Housing Experience: You understand the nuances of the sector and can apply your technical insights to practical, impactful solutions.
  • Business Savvy: You can contribute to, inform, and present a business case with a strong understanding of data and strategic communication skills at all levels.
  • Hands-On Data Knowledge: Your experience working with data allows you to interpret and mobilise data-driven solutions effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Microsoft Technology Alignment: Previous experience with similar projects using the Microsoft technology ecosystem is a plus.
